The Blue Quest

The Blue Quest team explores different marine protection projects around the world, as well as the people working on them, in order to highlight the solutions they provide. The projects often lack the resources to get the visibility they merit. The Blue Quest team goes to live with those workers to help them with their marketing needs, and to create photo and video content that draws attention to their work. The aim is to ensure that the projects have the best possible visibility with the aim of encouraging the general public to help them and to get involved in the protection of our oceans. Documentaries, photo exhibitions, conferences, events, and social networks, anything that works to get the message across.

Documentary: The Blue Quest - Baja California Expedition

Their first trip was to Mozambique, in 2017, to cover two marine protection projects. In 2018, the team went to Baja California. This spit of land, as long as Italy and stretching along the Pacific Ocean, is separated from Mexico by the Sea of Cortez. It’s known worldwide for the abundance of its marine animals, so much so that Commander Cousteau nicknamed it "the aquarium of the world". But this magical place is being severely affected by the massive loss of biodiversity. There are men and women who are fighting daily with different approaches to preserving this unique area and The Blue Quest travelled to meet them. This documentary highlights four marine protection projects on to preserve marine biodiversity, more specifically, sharks. This film has been a huge success for a self-produced project.
