Remontada, the football board game created by a Kedger in which can tease around with your friends.

Arthur Six, a KEDGE graduate, has created a board game about football that combines trickery, luck, strategy, and banter!

Tell us about yourself

Pleased to meet you! My name is Arthur, I come from Lille and I dreamt up Remontada, a board game about football, suitable for everyone, even those who know nothing about football. This project is a pure product of the 1st lockdown. Like many people, I suffered the consequences of being completely unemployed. Suffice to say, I had a lot of time on my hands!

When did this venture begin?

The project started at the end of March 2020. Some friends and I have a Facebook page called Mauvaise Foi FC, which was created three years ago. At the time, we were looking for something fun to do with it. So I came up with a concept for a football game that had nothing to do with the original idea. That's how Remontada (meaning “comeback” in Spanish) was conceived.

I have nothing against the PSG. On the contrary. Like many, I suffered in 2017 during the infamous 6-1 defeat to  Barcelona (Allez la France!). But for me, a comeback today is much more than that match. It represents what is most common in football: banter! The very basis of this sport and especially of this game!

About the game

REMONTADA, the football match game suitable for everyone. You’ll have 90 minutes of experiencing a football match as if it were right in front of you on your TV screen while keeping the friendly aspect of a match. Deceit, luck, strategy, and teasing are essential to victory. Remontada is a strategic board game Made in France and not a quiz with advanced questions designed for football pros. Released this past June (at the time of the Euro) and has already sold more than 1,100 copies, Remontada appeals to both the novices and experts of football.
