Lou, Founder of Super Mamas: An Inspiring Path to Entrepreneurship

Nutrition and wellness: products designed for moms

🌟 F rom the KEDGE years to the first professional steps

Lou began her career with a DUT in Marketing Techniques before joining KEDGE Business School in 2017. Graduating in 2021 with a Master 2, she looks back with enthusiasm on her four years at KEDGE BS Marseille.

"I have excellent memories of this period. KEDGE really prepares us for the professional world while helping us make the right choices for the future."

After graduating, she worked as Sales Manager for the Valmorel ski resort in Savoie, before a personal event led her to entrepreneurship.

"KEDGE helped me learn the codes of entrepreneurship. The diversity of subjects taught allowed me to blossom in my project."

She also stresses the importance of the associative world at KEDGE, in particular her experience with Le Citadingue, which enabled her to master the various stages of project management.

🤰Super-Mamas: A brand dedicated to moms' well-being

It was during her maternity leave that Lou created Super Mamas, initially a podcast giving mothers a voice to share their experiences of motherhood. The project quickly evolved into a nutrition brand for expectant and new mothers.

Two pillars of activity:

  • Nutrition: A range of soups, ginger shots and soon healthy snacks and gazpachos.
  • Communication: A podcast and newsletter to inform, inspire and support moms at this pivotal time.

"My aim is to offer women comprehensive and accessible support during maternity."

🌟 Ambitions for the future

"In the short term, I want to expand the range with healthy snacks and increase the brand's visibility through strategic collaborations."

In the medium term, she plans to structure the distribution of Super Mamas through specialized retailers and e-commerce platforms, while consolidating her community.

💡 A dvice to Graduates and Future Entrepreneurs

Lou encourages young graduates and students to dare to take the plunge, while remaining methodical.

"Entrepreneurship is a marathon, not a sprint. Take the time to validate your concept, get to know your target audience and adjust your offering based on customer feedback."

"Never underestimate the importance of networking. Exchanging with other entrepreneurs and being accompanied can make all the difference. And above all, be passionate!"
