KEDGE Alumnus Jocelyn Meire has been appointed Administrator of the Fédération Française du Prêt-à-Porter Féminin!

A graduate from KEDGE's Grande Ecole Programme (Class of 1999), Founder of the FASK Association, and Founder of the FASK ACADEMY (a textile production school) Jocelyn Meire has recently joined the Board of Directors of the Fédération Française du Prêt-à-P

When the FASKassociation was created in 2019, its founders tasked it with uniting all players in the fashion industry (textiles, jewellery, leather goods, etc.), bringing together the various professions, and introducing one other and sharing skills, to strengthen the industry’s ecosystem in Marseille and the Sud-PACA region and make it more widely known and more supported.

On 30 May this year, yet another step was taken in this process of uniting actors in the industry when Jocelyn Meire, was entrusted with the Presidency of the UPMH (Union des Professionnels de la Mode et de l'Habillement) Provence-Côte d'Azur, which became part of the dynamic by offering the  FASK universe as a new gateway to the entire profession in other regions, Paris in particular.

JOCELYN MEIRE HAS JOINED LA FÉDÉRATION FRANÇAISE DU PRÊT-À-PORTER FÉMININ

On 23 June 2022, this spirit of unity was recognised. At its General Assembly, the Fédération Française du Prêt-à-Porter Féminin (French Federation of Women's Ready-to-Wear Fashion) appointed Jocelyn Meire to its Board of Directors.

This appointment recognises the remarkable work of all the members of the regional fashion industry ecosystem, in particular the 130 members of FASK. It also proves that the field of possibilities is widening every day.

By creating a new, very strong link between our region's professionals and those at the national level, the entire sector is strengthened, further widening the spectrum of an industry that is more supportive, more responsible, and more connected to the world.

"As head of FASK, I was dedicated to the creation of FASK ACADEMY, the textile manufacturing school. My new responsibilities at the helm of the UPMH are an opportunity for me to further bring together members of the fashion ecosystem in our region, and to bring the challenges of our industries to the attention of private and public decision-makers even more strongly.

It is thanks to this work of building and unifying that I am now a member of a national authority, and I intend to fully represent the interests of the industry in our region."

- Jocelyn Meire.
