Paris, October 4, 2022 - METAV.RS, the start-up dedicated to supporting brands in the metaverse, has announced a €3 million investment to accelerate the development of its platform and step up recruitment. METAV.RS facilitates the integration and management of product catalogs in different virtual universes.

Clément began his career at Yves Rocher as a digital project manager before moving on to become digital manager EMEA. This experience taught him to work in a complex, international environment, working on digital transformation plans. He then continued his career as Digital Manager at H&H Group (a major pharmaceutical company in Hong Kong), where he piloted digital activities linked to e-commerce, media and CRM.

For the past 9 months, he has been co-founder of METAV.RS, a platform enabling brands to manage their presence in metavers. The start-up currentlyemploys around twenty people, has just raised €3 million and has a dozen key account customers.

The KEDGE Bachelor program taught her the basics of management and marketing, put into practice through two internships, one of which was with a start-up in Amsterdam: " This Bachelor program gave me a concrete and practical grasp of essential business concepts. A complete and solid program, ideal for entrepreneurship.

The previously self-financed start-up brings in several French and foreign investment funds, experienced entrepreneurs and web3 figures.

The seed round was led by Jsquare (DFG Group), a specialized Web3 fund based in Singapore, joined by consulting firm Sia Partners via its start-up Studio, and 50 Partners, an investment fund founded around 50 successful entrepreneurs.

METAV.RS is also backed by well-known business angels such as David Balland, co-founder of Ledger, Sébastien Borget, co-founder and COO of The Sandbox, and Michael Amar, co-founder of Ifeelgoods and multi-entrepreneur, Thibault Renouf, CEO of Partoo, Joël Hazan, Managing Director & Partner of BCG, Sébastien Lalevée, CEO of Financière Arbevel, and Jonathan Bordereau, CEO of Golden Bees and in charge of 50 Partners' web3 gas pedal.
