Challenges magazine's ranking of the best management schools 2023

KEDGE Business School's Grande Ecole Programme makes it into the Top 10, while its IBBA and EBP programmes maintain their position in the Top 5

In Challenges Magazines' ranking published on 8 December 2022, KEDGE Business School reaffirms its position among the best French business schools and moves up to 8th place in 2023, advancing 4 places in just one year. The school's international post-baccalaureate programmes have kept their place in the Top 5.

The Challenges ranking, which is a benchmark in the sphere of French business schools, has once again praised several KEDGE programmes, in particular its Grande Ecole programme. To establish this ranking, Challenges evaluated 17 French management schools approved to award Masters degrees based on five different criteria (accreditations, admission requirements, staffing levels, salaries of graduates upon leaving, and the school's budget). Thus, the ranking assesses the power of these schools, particularly as regards their selectivity in the competitive examination, the number of permanent professors, and their financial resources.

KEDGE guarantees its students high-level teaching staff

This is one of the criterion that has been carefully examined as part of the new pedagogical approach of the Grande Ecole Programme, Grow by doing®, which is built around a philosophy of "learning by doing", where the student is an active participant in his/her/their education and career in an international setting.

The publications by professor-researchers as well as its performance in the Shanghai ranking also largely contributed to KEDGE’s progression in the ranking.

The high calibre academic staff, who hold degrees from top universities, actively carry out research and produce an ever-increasing number of publications. The work of KEDGE professors is a cornerstone of the school's academic excellence.

"This excellent result illustrates the dynamic we are in, driven by a high-quality Grande Ecole Programme that gives opportunities to an increasing number of students, while ensuring excellence in teaching", stated Alexandre de Navailles, Managing Director of KEDGE.

The EBP International and IBBA programmes retain their places amongst the Top 5

By maintaining their position at the top of the ranking, EBP International (5th) and IBBA (4th) demonstrate their continued appeal to both French and foreign students.

The EBP International, a 5-year post-baccalaureate Master programme, trains multi-cultural managers to be prepared for the global marketplace and capable of holding all corporate positions. With three languages, a Bachelor degree and two Masters, and more than half of the curriculum spent abroad, the programme guarantees a high level of employability (60% of students find a job before graduation) for those who wish to work in a profession with a significant international dimension.

As for the IBBA, it trains bilingual and international operational managers. With 131 prestigious academic partners on all five continents, and 11 options for double degrees, the programme offers students the opportunity to gain a real mastery of managerial fields in an international and intercultural environment.
