A KEDGE Alumnus and his journey to Télévision Sénégalaise!

Originally from Senegal, Thierno Cissé started at KEDGE  in 2019 after having received an Associate’s degree in Applied Foreign Languages English/Spanish. At KEDGE, he got a Master in International Sport and Event Management: "The programme is considered to be the best in Europe in this field. My family were already in Marseille so I didn’t what to feel out of place. Those two years were exceptional, not only because of the wonderful people I met but also because of the quality and professionalism of the instructors, especially during the second year."

During this period, Thierno Cissé presented group work to the Marseille Olympic teams at the Robert-Louis Dreyfus Centre on two separate occasions. One of them was on the subject of sponsoring and the second on the international development of a football club. These two topics are issues that he is now confronted with regularly.

Currently a Project Manager at Brand It Solutions, he works on Sports Marketing, Sports Sponsorship, and Development Strategy issues in Africa. "Brand It Solutions is a Franco-African consulting agency based in Lyon, specialising in growth strategy, sponsorship, communication, and marketing (for clients such as Abéo, Olympique Lyonnais, Brussel Airlines, Synergie Family, Cameroon Federation). I work mainly on subjects related to the specific sports of our various clients (sponsorship, implementation of development strategies in Africa, activation strategy)," explained Thierno Cissé.

“Yes, of course. If I had one piece of advice to give to KEDGE Business School students and graduates, it would especially be to not limit yourself to a particular geographical area and to be bold enough to start your professional career abroad.”
