As part of our "KEDGE Alumni around the world" series of conferences, 2 graduates based in Asia will talk about their experiences there.

Today, it's the turn of ASIA to be studied and told by those who know it best: our expatriate graduates, who throughout the year are supported by KEDGE Alumni despite the distance, thanks to our range of online services.

Conducted by KEDGE Alumni teams, alongside students from the Forum Events association, this participative conference aims to bring our graduates and students closer together, while answering questions from kedgers curious about expatriation.

PROGRAM 📝

Asia is a huge continent, with diverse cultures, languages, religions and customs. From the skyscrapers of Singapore to the ancient temples of India, from the bustling markets of Bangkok to the majestic mountains of Japan, each country has its own unique character.

Life in Asia for expats can be an exciting adventure filled with cultural, culinary and professional discoveries. However, it can also present challenges such as language barriers, cultural differences and administrative formalities. .... would you like to find out more?

Conference organized by Forum Events

Since 1997, Forum Events has been spreading culture, current affairs and debate from the KEDGE Business School campus in Bordeaux, by organizing free conferences in collaboration with prestigious speakers.

Forum Events also publishes Forum, its student newspaper, which analyzes and deciphers topical issues affecting society and school life.

The association also runs a number of pro-acts on contemporary topics such as politics, economics, CSR, culture and eloquence.

  • Kamel KHELLAF
    Technical Sales Engineer - VALLOUREC

    Kamel, who holds a university degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering and graduated from KEDGE in 2019 with a Master's degree in Business Engineering, has gained professional experience in engineering and project management. During his studies, he worked at Safran Landing Systems and Framatome in France. With a keen interest in international business, he spent 2 years working for Vallourec in Dubai as a technical sales engineer under a VIE program. Now inactive, and approaching his 30th birthday, Kamel aspires to find new professional challenges and explore his personal passions. He went to South Korea for 1 year as part of a PVT (Working Holiday Program). He was able to immerse himself in Korean culture and travel around the country and the region.

  • Maxime LECCIA
    Regional Manager Asia-Pacific - saint gobain

    Maxime, who graduated from KEDGE Marseille and TongJi University in 2014, started out in the AIRBUS Group in France and then in Asia. After a Master's degree at ESCP-Europe, he joined Saint-Gobain Aerospace for a more international position. This opportunity led him to be based in Bangkok as Key Account Manager since 2019, where he thrives in a multicultural environment, covering airlines in Asia and the Middle East.

  • Elisabeth LAUBEL
    Managing Director - ALL 1KL SDN BHD

    In 2008, Elisabeth moved to Malaysia and set up All1KL Sdn.Bhd. - Asia Career Management, a consulting firm specializing in human resources services. For many years, she has helped numerous companies in Asia to successfully complete their downsizing exercises. She has also provided advice and information to thousands of people in their job search and career planning. Since 2011, Elisabeth has been CCE (Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur) and Vice-President of the Malaysia Chapter. She is also a member of the industry panel of the Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF).
