Co-development Workshops for Senior Executives

In the interest of meeting the expectations of our graduates, we have set up a range of services specially designed for senior executives. These services are now available in face-to-face or videoconference format and will enable you to provide answers to your managerial and professional problems.

CO-DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS FOR SENIOR EXECUTIVES

What are they?

It is an approach invented by Adrien Payette (Quebec). The Association française de codéveloppement  describes it as follows: "Professional co-development brings together a group of people who share professional issues, learn together and cultivate a 'collective intelligence' through a six-step process that is structured around speaking, listening, and thinking, and which encourages action." Awareness, ideas, and concrete solutions will develop from this collective intelligence in motion. Most of the issues raised "resonate" for everyone, and the contributions by peers are almost always useful in one way or another. Each person relies not only on his or her experience, but also on his or her authenticity and willingness to share.

Objectives:

  • Find novel solutions to professional problems
  • Learn the art of questioning
  • Share amongst peers
  • Develop the people skills essential for the 21st century – 5-Cs Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, Crafting Alignment of the Mind and Body

Who’s it for?

Graduates who are senior executives, and who are confronting strategic issues in innovation, management, organisation, transformation, and governance.

Prerequisites:

There are no prerequisites to take this workshop other than respecting the rules of collective intelligence: CARE, SHARE, DARE

  • Speak with intention
  • Listen with attention
  • Agree to trust each other with open-mindedness
  • Give yourself the right to learn
  • Respect the structure of the programme

Detailed Programme:

How does it work?

A co-development group brings together five to eight participants for two hours.

Prior to the workshop, each participant chooses a subject relevant to his or her current professional activities which he or she wishes to discuss with peers, such as making a transformation more fluid, accelerating the implementation of the strategy, stimulating collective intelligence, animating governance, considering professional mobility, taking a difficult decision, etc...

The session is broken down into six steps:

  • the presentation
  • clarification (or the art of questioning)
  • the consulting contracts
  • feedback, ideas, advice, and success stories
  • the action plans
  • what was learned

The workshop is run by a coach. One of the participants, whose problem will have been chosen by a vote, will play the role of the "client" and will describe the situation. The others will play the role of the "consultants" and will bring their insights to the “client” in the form of questions and recommendations.

Ultimately, the learning for all will be highlighted, both on relationships and behaviours during the workshop and on the substance of the subject that it has been decided to address.

Workshop Dates:

This workshop takes place over a cycle of five 2-hour sessions. You can also participate in sessions on an ad hoc basis. For organisational reasons, only the first date is fixed; the following ones will be scheduled during the first session according to the participant’s respective schedules.
