KEDGE graduate Alexandre Testagrossa revolutionizes...
As a KEDGE graduate, I decided to donate to the school’s emergency fund.
In 2021, KEDGE held its first Alumni fundraising campaign so it could continue to provide support to its students in their professional or personal projects and remove any obstacles that the Covid crisis may have accentuated.
Monies raised are specifically for the purchase of groceries after the lockdown, help with rent payments if in the case of a job loss, assistance in the event of a deterioration in the family environment, help following health problems, or can be in the form of a one-off grant. There are many examples.
Pierre Rouvier, a KEDGE graduate, tells us about his donation.
What motivated you to participate in KEDGE's Emergency Fund campaign, which is intended to help students in difficulty due to the current Covid crisis?
"The Covid crisis has affected everyone to a greater or lesser extent, but it is all the more difficult for those who are not yet earning a regular income. So young people are on the front line of this crisis, which is also a social crisis."
As a KEDGE graduate, was it a given for you to help current students of the school?
"For a lot of people, KEDGE was the final school we attended before beginning our professional careers, and I have nothing but good memories of it. So it seemed only natural to me to support those who are now in the same position I was in only a few years ago."
If you were to encourage other members of your graduating class, and all Alumni in general, to donate to the Emergency Fund, what would you say to them?
"I call on my fellow Classmates to donate as well. It is necessary and vital for young people to be able to rely on their older peers, especially in difficult times.
The students of KEDGE need you!
Giving to the KEDGE Foundation means that many students can receive support through the various schemes approved by the Executive Committee and provided by the school.
Would you, too, like to contribute to the growth and well-being of our students? Take part in our fundraising campaign for the Emergency Fund now.
