A KEDGE graduate has been appointed Manager of Government and Public Affairs Europe at the Methanol Institute

The Methanol Institute has welcomed Rafik Ammar (Class of 2019) as Manager of Government and Public Affairs Europe. His job will be focused on energy policies, in particular those related to the methanol sector.

 

In his role at the Methanol Institute, Rafik Ammar will draw on his expertise on European legislative processes to support the company’s government relations strategy in Europe. He will also lead stakeholder engagement to effectively communicate perspectives from the methanol sector to political decision-makers.

Before joining the Methanol Institute, Rafik Ammar worked for several European institutions. He worked on transport policy at the European Parliament and was the Interinstitutional Relations Coordinator within the General Secretariat at the European Commission. In that position, he supervised relations between the European Commission and the Council. Rafik is a graduate of the École Nationale d'Administration in France and received an MSc in Business Engineering from KEDGE Business School.
