"Inflation in 2022: the geopolitical hypothesis".

(1979-2022 from the systemic relationship between the United States and China to a clash of blocs?)

We hypothesize that the root causes of current inflationary tensions are geopolitical in nature, and that a global perspective on the major geostrategic issues pitting the United States and its Western allies against China and Russia is not only necessary, but inescapable.ostrategic issues between the United States and its allies in the Western world, on the one hand, and China and Russia for the most part, on the other, is not only necessary but inescapable: The monetary and budgetary responses implemented in the United States in particular need to be placed in this geostrategic context, as they represent developments on a scale not seen since the Second World War.

The presentation will therefore focus on the rising inflationary pressures on goods and services in 2021 and 2022, in the context of the systemic relations (economic, commercial, financial) that have developed between the United States and China since the early 1980s.relations (economic, commercial, financial, etc.) that have developed between the United States and China since the early 1980s.

Will Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, against a backdrop of "new-style" relations between Russia and China, call into question the economic and financial globalization of the last 40 years?

Here are the themes of the presentation to which you are invited.
