OENOLOGY- White grape varieties and how to recognise them

KEDGE Alumni Wine Tasting - Session registration

From 8 October, KEDGE Alumni Wine Tasting offers you a new concept for oenological meetings. For 20 years, KEDGE Alumni Wine Tasting Paris has organised oenological meetings led by Muriel Petit, a professional oenologist, and Olivier Mora, a KEDGE graduate. Due to the COVID19 epidemic and related restrictions, all our face-to-face events are cancelled until further notice. However, we’ve have been working on a new format so we won’t lose the dynamic of our meetings.

As of today, our oenological meetings will be held by video-conference, and all KEDGE students and graduates can participate whether they are in France or abroad. Participants will receive PDF documentation before the sessions.

Sessions will be live, with live discussions with the oenologist so you can interact with them and ask questions.

Objectives:

  • Learn how to relate viticulture and winemaking processes to what you smell and taste in your glass.
  • Learn the tasting process step by step.
  • Discover techniques to train both your palate and your memory to detect aromas and flavours.
  • Learn a unique 3-step approach to build and increase your knowledge of wine throughout your life.
  • Gather ideas for your next tasting by reproducing what you were shown during the session
