KEDGE Business School graduates in the news – Season 1

Saison 1 - Episode 1: The joined the Top Management

KEDGE Business School is proud of its graduates and has launched a series of bulletins to highlight their careers. Our alumni have been in the news since the beginning of the year with their promotions, new positions, and even by creating their own companies. For the first episode in this series, KEDGE Business looks back on all of those graduates who are making waves as part of the Top Management.
 
  • Michel Bédoucha, after starting his career in 1982 with The French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), was appointed Director of the Saclay Center.

  • Mikael Berthou, former General Director of Hasbro Italy, was appointed General Director of Hasbro France; a company specialised in games and toys.

  • Christine Bord Le Tallec was appointed Delegate of La Poste (French Post Office) for the PACA region.

  • Seydou Diakité was appointed General Director of the Group Bolloré in Burkina Faso, after previously managing the group’s activities in Benin and Chad.

  • Cyril Dreesen was appointed General Director of supermarkets in France and as a member of the Executive Committee for Auchan Retail France. He has worked with the distributor since 2004 and had worked as General Director of Simply in Poland since 2013

  • Martin Ducroquet and Marie-Ange Verdickt, were respectively appointed as President and as a member of the Supervisory Board for the Group Bonduelle, world leader in ready-to-eat vegetables.

  • Joëlle Durieux was re-appointed as General Director of Finance Innovation, a competitive cluster which aims to develop R&D projets from innovative companies in the financial eco-system. She was also made a Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur.

  • Eric Freudenreich, head of management control in the purchasing department for the Group Vallourec, was appointed as President of the Institut des diplômés d'expertise comptable en entreprise (ECE)

  • Nicolas de la Giroday has joined General Mills as Vice-President/General Director of the Southern Europe cluster, which groups together Yoplait and General Mills’s activities is France, Spain, and Portugal. He was previously President and General Director for Procter&Gamble in Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei.

  • Karine Martin-Laprade, Communications and Marketing Director from the channels TMC, NT1, and HD1, was promoted to Director of Public Relations for the Group TF1.

  • Jean-Luc Monteil, the managing director of five different companies, was re-elected as President of the MEDEF PACA, after a first mandate as head of the employer organisation.

  • Bruno Nivière, General Director of the accounting firm CPECF, was elected President of the Commercial Court in Marseille. His main objective is to “be a President that is close to the judges”.

  • Christian Pasquetti, former Senior Director of EY, for France, the Maghreb, and Luxembourg, was appointed as General Director of the Mutuelle Générale de l’Economie, des Finances et l’Industrie (MGEFI).

  • Christine Placet, former Chairwoman of the Board of Directors for Trophos, was appointed General Director of Horama, which specialises in gene therapy for genetic ophthalmologic diseases.

  • Thierry Grenié de Boüard, at age 29 has joined the management board of the Château Angelus.

Special Mentions:

  • Sophie Cluzel has founded several different associations to help handicapped children access schooling. She received the Chevalier dans l’Ordre national du Mérite in 2002 by Jacques Chirac, the Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur in 2008, and was newly promoted Officier de la Légion d’Honneur by President Hollande on July 14th.

  • Xavier Rolet, General Director of the London Stock Exchange, was promoted Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur.
