Cyber crisis management: comparison with environmental crisis management

 THEME:

Companies no longer ask themselves whether they will be victims of a cyberattack, but rather when they will be attacked. The system for managing a cyber crisis cannot be treated in the same way as "normal" crisis management, such as environmental crises. Failure to differentiate between types of crises can have disastrous consequences. Two biologists and computer scientists will discuss the specific traits of these two types of crises - which are so similar to other types of crises, but yet so different...

Presenters: 

Guillaume TERRADOT, Lecturer, The Centre for Interdisciplinarity Research (Centre de Recherches Interdisciplinaires – CRI):
Guillaume Terradot is a doctoral student at the University of Edinburgh in Life Science Modelling. These modelling skills also allow him to work on social phenomena. For several years he’s been teaching a course at The Centre for Interdisciplinarity Research  (Centre de Recherches Interdisciplinaires – CRI)
 
Jean LANGLOIS, Lecturer at SciencesPo : 
Jean Langlois is a former senior advisor to the Ministry of the Armed Forces. He is currently conducting operational research in Switzerland and France. He mainly works on methods in Data Science and Complex Systems. He speaks on these fields in specialised structures such as IHEDN, ANSSI, CESD, but also at SciencesPo and ESSEC.
 
Didier BAZALGETTE, Artificial Intelligence and Human Factors Referent at the Defence Innovation Agency:
Didier Bazalgette is a specialist in dual technologies. He is well-known within the Defence Innovation Agency. He recently spoke at the ESDC on hybrid threats.
