Alban Turpin, a 1992 graduate of KEDGE's Grande Ecole Programme, has held the position of Director General of Vignobles Foncalieu since September 1. This cooperative group from the Aude region (founded in 1967) now has 1,251 winegrowers in Occitania.

Alban Turpin, a manager who moved from finance to sales, has joined Vignobles Foncalieu as Director General. His task will be to lead the strategy of the cooperative group in the Occitania region.

The 52-year-old alumnus of KEDGE Business School and HEC Paris began his career as A Financial Auditor with Ernst & Young in Marseille. In 2015, after more than 18 years with the group, Alban became Global Sales and Marketing Director at Château Blanc, a subsidiary of the Holder Group (Paul Bakeries and Ladurée Macaroons).

A passionate oenologist (Foncalieu notes that he is an Officer of the Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne and was trained at the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, a wine academy in Paris), Alban had been a General Manager for France of Lanson International Diffusion, a subsidiary of Lanson BCC, the world's 3rd largest champagne group, since 2017. - https://objectif-languedoc-roussillon.latribune.fr
