Two kedgers take part in the 2019 “Raid Amazones” (Race of Amazons)
A team of three women colleagues and friends will participate in the women-only race for a good cause
The "Raid Amazones" is a sports challenge created for women in 2001 by Alexandre Debanne. The race is open to all women, in teams of 2 or 3, which takes place over six days of sports challenges:
Trail: 2 courses: One 16 km course and one 10 km course
- Bike & Run: One 25 km course
- VTT: One 48 km course
- Canoe: One 15 km course
- One multisport session: Archery, orientation course, climbing…
Les Cybèles is a team of 3 women from Bordeaux (Brigitte, Véronique TURON, and Nathalie DESMON) who have signed with the ARTC association, and are wearing its colours. Through the generosity of its donors, ARTC contributes to the progress of biological and medical knowledge in neuro-oncology through targeted research programmes.
In order to participate, the team needs financial assistance. An online fundraising campaign has been created to provide support the Cybele team.
