A Kedger has co-founded Jackfund, the solution that offers individuals total control over their personal financial wealth!`

A 2014 graduate of KEDGE's Grande Ecole Programme, Clément Carouge has launched a platform that helps individuals build long-term wealth by providing the best ecosystem dedicated to investment, and with fair and clear pricing.

Jackfund is the result of a meeting in Marseille of its three partners, Geoffroy Cade, Frédéric Jeanpierre and Clément Carouge, around a common point of view: no financial intermediary is truly aligned with the interests of its clients. This solution is the result of three years of analysis of the financial services available to individuals, their limitations, and the best way to use technology and the user experience to thoroughly reshape the long-term investment experience. Jackfund received guidance from the Belle de Mai incubator programme, is supported by BPI France, and has been awarded the French Tech label.

JACKFUND,  IN CONCRETE TERMS

Jackfund is a subscription-based investment platform, to which the user subscribes every month to access all services and features. Users don't deposit money with Jackfund, it simply enables them to better manage their existing accounts and fiscal envelopes (life insurance, PEA, securities, etc). Their skills are improved through educational material, but more importantly, they gain in performance and reduce their management costs through the use of tools that are unrivalled for private individuals. They also have access to a catalogue of turnkey investment strategies that have been devised by the world's most recognised experts in funds management.

ZOOM ON CLÉMENT’S BACKGROUND

Clément started at KEDGE in Marseille in 2009 after the Ecricome exam and graduated in 2014. “I quickly became attached to the region and the first part of my professional life reflects that attachment.”

In 2011, he and his fellow classmate Thibault Dusser founded La Nuit Magazine, a cultural events calendar and online media covering local cultural news (recognised as an online press service by the CPPAP). Thibault left the project at the end of 2011 and Clément continued until the end of 2019. "I expanded the service to include music and events, which took the form of a web radio station that I created in 2014. The team has now grown to become the leading online cultural media in Marseille for all things related to contemporary music," he explained.

Clément worked a lot on the local anchorage of the media. In 2017, he organised the États Généraux de la Nuit in Marseille, to give birth to a new reflection on the night through three days of discussions between institutions, elected officials, and players in the nightlife scene. In 2018, he worked for MP2018 (replica of MP2013 European Capital of Culture) and was in charge of digital communication. Then in 2019, he went to work for Provence Tourisme as digital communication manager in charge of MPG2019 (Year of Gastronomy in Provence) as well as the media transformation of the My Provence brand platform.

Currently, La Nuit Magazine is offline and waiting to be redesigned. Clément became a father in January 2020. He took six months off to spend time with his son, then he met Geoffroy and Frédéric; "We were totally aligned on the same vision and that's why I decided to join their project."
