Lovebox is a distributor of small gestures that "allows people to take care of those they love more regularly and easily. The Lovebox was invented by Jean Grégoire for his sweetheart, and today it is used by thousands of people: children and their parents, sweethearts, friends, grandchildren and their grandparents ... and even by company teams or hotels that take advantage of the opportunity to put more dopamine in the daily lives of their customers! explains the Lovebox team.
The concept is very simple, the personalised heart (pixel, paper, precious materials) located on the front of the Lovebox starts spinning when a message is received. You just have to open the box and find the message displayed on the screen hidden within. Messages are sent via an app available on Android and IOS. The Lovebox is made of wood and it has an LCD screen. A wi-fi connection is of course necessary to receive messages.
Only one year after the launch of Lovebox, the start-up closed a financing round with more than 500 000 € and has just exceeded one million euros of revenue with more than half of its sales in the United States. What’s more, these last six months have been a crucial period for the company with the creation of an office in San Francisco (of which Alix de Bricourt is the manager) and the establishment of a new manufacturing circuit.
