Myriam Maestroni, KEDGE Alumna, CEO, Économie d'Energie SAS, and the E5T Fondation

Graduated from KEDGE in 1989, Myriam Maestroni has a tremendous amount of experience in energy in a global context

Myriam Maestroni spent three years at KEDGE Business School where she obtained her diploma in 1989 before going on to get an MBA at ESCADE Business School in Barcelona.

A specialist, she is very passionate in her work and possesses a tremendous amount of experience in the energy sector. She began in her career in 1991 as General Manager for Spain with the petrol companies Dyneff, and Agip in the role of sustainable solutions manager.

In 1996, she joined Primagaz (a subsidiary of the Netherland company SHV Gas) to create and lead its Spanish subsidiary. She then joined SVH Gas in 1996 (a shareholding company in the distribution of liquified gas) and, in 2002, supervised its international business. In 2003, Myriam Maestroni was appointed Business Director with Primagaz France, then in June 2005, at 35 years of age, she became the Managing Director through December 2011.

In 2011, after having spent nine years at the head of Primagaz France, she founded the company Économie d’Énergie SAS (EdE) and served as its President, as well as of the Fondation E5T.

Économie d’Énergie SAS: Économie d'Énergie role is piloting stakeholders in the power sector formulate economic energy strategies, responding to the emerging needs of their clients, partners, and collaborators.

Fondation E5T : La Fondation E5T Energy, Effectiveness, Energetic, Economy of Energy and Territories) is an operational think-tank for reflection and action. It’s an open platform which allows interaction between stakeholders and users who are concerned by the problems inherent to power transition.

In January 2014, she created The Blu Effect, a company dedicated to helping businesses, governments, associations, and schools in their approach to sustainable development by motivating employees and students to improve their management of energy, water, and waste - not only at their school or workplace, but also when travelling and at home.

Very engaged in the fight against climate change, as well as in sustainable development and leadership, she regularly speaks at conferences organised by the grandes écoles as well as for various management boards

What’s more, in 2006, she was decorated with the Ordre du Mérite (France) in respect to her professional career.  In 2012, she won the Tribune Award in the Green Business category and was named Women in Gold of the Environment in 2015. She was named Chevalier à la Légion d’Honneur (Knight of the Legion of Honour) by First Minister Manuel Valls.

An alumna very involved in the life of the school

Myriam Maestroni is a member of the school's Board of Directors and also mentors several start-ups, including ZEI (see video below). She does not hesitate to give her time (advice, expertise, networking) to the businesses launched by KEDGE alumni.
