Students of KEDGE, choose your mentor from one of 1300 alumni!

Given the success of this service, KEDGE Alumni wanted to expand its ability to facilitate connections between students and graduates by forming a partnership with the site My Job Glasses.

Following the publication of an article urging alumni to sign up for My Job Glasses, around 1300 graduates rose to the challenge and signed up on the platform. The aim of our campaign was to allow you to choose a mentor from a list of graduates who had already registered.

The objective: don't make an error when it's time to choose a speciality, an internship, a work-study programme, or even your first job.

WHAT IS MY JOB GLASSES?

Created several years ago, this start-up is a platform that connects:

  • students who want to know more about a career that they are leaning toward, and
  • professionals who are already in working within a company, and who wish to pass on their experiences, to give you a clear picture of their professional career

This free offer was envisioned to respond to a need for mentoring those young adults in the process of graduating, who are often not satisfied with their first jobs. 46% of adults younger than 24 years of age leave their first permanent contract before the end of the first year. This is an an enormous economic loss for the businesses, that must pay one year of net salary for each employee leaving. So it is as helpful for the students as much as it is for the companies to provide the best support and guidance to these young adults.

AN ALLIANCE BETWEEN KEDGE AND MY JOB GLASSES

In the goal of providing the best support and guidance to our students, the school as entered into a partnership with this platform. If you are a student at KEDGE and you want to participate in this project, you can register today on the My Job Glasses as a student.

I'M LOOKING FOR A MENTOR, I'LL REGISTER
