Two KEDGE Alumni have launched their own clothing line

In the South-West, friends often start businesses together! Just like Guillaume Cattin and Romain Petit, who both obtained their Bachelor's from KEDGE BS in 2014 and launched their own clothing line, L'Atelier Clothing, two years ago.

After obtaining their degree in management, the two friends when on to pursue their education in Entrepreneurship and Environmental Sciences (Management specialisation), respectively. They also worked for several companies before launching L'Atelier Clothing in 2015, a textile and woodworking design workshop.

"Our products are organic and are made in accordance with international norms and certifications" Guillaume explains. "We sell our products online. What sets us apart from other brands in the industry, is our urban inspiration. Our goal is to bring together a real community, a wolfpack of artists, athletes, clients and stakeholders that get together to exchange ideas, collaborate, and design products and events together. It's a collaborative project."

To better spread the word about their brand, the two Kedgers regularly organise events. "We have already organised several events in Bordeaux, which were a huge success and enabled us to meet clients and artists, and expand our "pack"".

Their advice to budding entrepreneurs: "KEDGE enabled us to build the solid foundation we needed to move forward with our business. Don't wait, dive in. There are options available so you don't have to take too much personal risk, you might as well take advantage of them."
