Online Conference: The American elections at the 11th hour

As part of the American Month conferences, we are giving you the opportunity to decipher the US election with Professor Virginie Martin, political scientist and researcher at KEDGE BS, and Leo Keller, professor of geopolitics.

INTRODUCTION 👋

2020 has been a very busy year in American news. During this unusual time of the coronavirus pandemic, and against the backdrop of many clashes that have animated American society (like #blacklivesmatter), Vice President Joe Biden and President Donald Trump are battling to win votes in the Presidential election, which will take place on 3 November 2020 in a country where nothing is ever a foregone conclusion.

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES 🧭

To enjoy a rich analysis on the eve of the US elections, we have the privilege of welcoming Virginie Martin - political scientist and researcher at KEDGE BS, and Co-president of the Scientific Board of the Revue Politique et Parlementaire, and Léo Keller - professor of geopolitics, specialist in international relations, founder of the blog blogazoi, and contributor to the Revue Politique et Parlementaire.

This conference will aim to analyse the latest trends at the 11th hour of the elections, the weight of Donald Trump's record in the elections, the position of the United States on the international scene, as well as the candidates’ political statements.
