Evening conference in Montreal

Our local branch in Montreal, hosted by Gwendoline Duval and Marie Broudic, and in partnership with ESC Pau, Grenoble School of Management, Toulouse Business School, and Montpellier Business School, have organised a special evening on Wednesday, 23 January to be led by two passionate keynote speakers:

Managing your career and, on the flip side, retaining talent.

No matter what your job, your industry, or even your ambitions, your salary represents the experience and time you sell to a business or your clients. And time is the most precious thing a person has, so it's better to sell it at fair value and understand the rules of the game to do so. What do you know about this subject? On the other hand, if you are in a management position, then what can you do to keep the staff who perform?

The topics covered:

Marie-Hélène Bourgeois: Currently the Director of Talent Acquisition at CIMA+, the issues she addresses during this session are directly related to her daily life. With 14 years of experience in talent acquisition and talent management in various business sectors such as consumer goods and consultation engineering, she is familiar with Canadian and American issues related to talent acquisition and employment research. A graduate of ESG in Business Administration, Marie-Hélène is always on the lookout for trends and best practices in human resources.

Marie Descat: Currently a human resources business partner at Danone Canada for almost four years, these issues are part of her daily life. She’s also met with several companies that shared their best practices in the field (GSoft, Next Jump). She has been with Danone for more than nine years, first doing HR project management for five years in France, then a change management project in the United States for a few months before moving to Canada in 2015. She is a graduate of GEM.

The event has two parts:

The conference beginning at 6:00 pm, followed by a network event, "Cheers 2019", which gives you the opportunity to meet new people and do some professional or personal networking over drinks in nice surroundings.
