Conferene objectives 🧭️
Run by our branch hosts and on-site alumni the teams of KEDGE Alumni, and in association with the members of the student association Forum Events, this participative conference strives to bring our graduates and students closer together, while answering the questions of Kedgers who are curious about living and working abroad.
Who’s this online conference for? 👤
This conference is open to all Kedgers – both students and graduates, the entire KEDGE community (partners, teachers, staff, etc.), and anyone else interested in the topic. Have you dreamed about doing an internship abroad, attending a partner university, or moving abroad? Then this conference is for you!

- Vancouver: A city located in western Canada known for the quality of life it offers and its mild climate in a country that is generally freezing. Conference led by a student from the Forum Events Association
Since 1997, the Forum Events Association has promoted culture, current events and debate on the KEDGE Business School campus in Bordeaux by organising free conferences in liaison with prestigious speakers.
Forum Events also publishes the Forum, a student newspaper that analyses and deciphers current issues that influence society and the life of the school.
The association also administers several Pro-acts that focus on contemporary issues, such as politics, the economy, CSR, culture, and public speaking.

Magali DAUMAS
My name is Magali, and after doing a Msc in Financial and Organizational Management on the Marseille campus and a few short expatriations in Europe, I now live in Doha.
I started out in retail banking during my Master's internship at HSBC in structured commodity finance. At the end of my internship, I joined the corporate finance division in Paris.
I moved to Qatar following an opportunity and today I'm in charge of the profitability of tenders for a British company.

Chloé TOUZET
Rooms Division Manager trainee - Mandarin OrientalAfter two hotel internships in Bali and Thailand in 5-star resorts, I joined a French tour operator (Kappa Club) as destination manager. I changed destinations every 6 months (Bali, Thailand, Zanzibar, Panama, Abu Dhabi, Oman, Andalusia, Canary Islands). This enabled me to integrate new teams, new hotels, new cultures and therefore new ways of working. I then decided to go back to school to obtain a diploma of excellence in luxury hotel management, with the aim of joining some of the world's most luxurious establishments. This enabled me to deepen the theoretical knowledge I lacked in the field. Following this course at the Institut Paul Bocuse, an MIT (Manager In Training) was an obvious choice. An opportunity at the Mandarin Oriental, Doha came up. Today, this experience has enabled me to come to terms with the high standards demanded when working in this type of establishment: rigor and excellence.
