Offshore wind turbines: from port to offshore installation

ITTL Conference

Although onshore wind turbines have already conquered many regions, offshore wind turbines have the wind in their sails.

According to EDF, offshore wind turbines can produce up to 60% more energy than onshore wind turbines, all without the noise and visual pollution for which they are often criticised.

The development of offshore wind turbines is therefore a major opportunity for the coming decades. They can only be developed with the support of an entire ecosystem, including the main ports, such as Nantes Saint-Nazaire, as well as merchant shipping companies, such as Bourbon.
